Because the third day was so well received during the 2018 show, Driven Dressage and the Timed Country Drive return for 2019. Details can be found on the Competitor page. Come join us for an extra day of fun!
The Lorenzo State Historic Site is one of the jewels of Cazenovia, New York. The site hosts the original home of John Lincklaen, founder of Cazenovia. The surrounding gardens and the view of Cazenovia Lake make this an outstanding site for the 3 day driving competition.
Spectators and competitors alike can expect a weekend of exceptional driving, shopping & fun for the entire family!
Lorenzo 2019 is in the books! Thank you to the faithful and new competitors for hanging in there with record heat on Friday and Saturday and a surprise rain storm on Saturday evening! Our officials, announcers, and managers all did an incredible job of keeping the show running in a very smooth and timely manner. The members of the board and show committee – all volunteers – worked for many hours before, during and after the show to provide the best possible experience for competitors and spectators. Special word of thanks goes out to Josh Bechard, this year’s stable manager for his abilities to park rigs in very tight spaces and to Bruce Jones, our photographer who agreed to fill-in at the last minute. Be sure to have a look at Bruce’s photos – they are outstanding! (Refer to www.highhopesfarms.com for the link to the 2019 Lorenzo photos.) For those of you that competed this year, we hope to see you back in 2020- and please invite your fellow pleasure driving friends! Mark your calendar for July 17-19, 2020 for Lorenzo Driving Competition #43!
